FMEA Hunter software supports IEC 61508 and ISO26262 standards. The case uses the ISO26262 standard "road vehicle" to illustrate the function of the software. If the case is applicable to IEC 61508 or other specifications derived from it, the corresponding contents need to be adapted according to the corresponding standards. Since two standards are supported, standards should be set before specific development.
FMEA Hunter software uses structure tree, function net and fault net for system modeling
The functional safety parameter setting determines the safety level and target value of the top fault.
The FMEDA form clearly outlines the functional safety parameters of the underlying fault, and can effectively handle these parameters in it. It includes failure rate, failure mode distribution and diagnostic coverage of each failure mode of the underlying fault. The ASIL classification of top-level faults determines whether the failure rate is divided into safe detectable (SD) and safe undetectable (SU), or dangerous detectable (DD) and dangerous undetectable (DU).
The top failure of the failure net displays the target value and calculated value. The failure table can be called through the failure net. Similar to the FMEDA form, it displays the functional safety information in the form of a table.
